A NEW ARENA FOR THE

FUTURE OF POLO

The biggest open-air sand arena dedicated to Polo in Europe is now in the heart of the Domain of Chantilly

It all began with an idea, a new dimension, an innovative project led by the French Federation in partnership with the Association Sportive France Polo and The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly. With its exceptional equestrian heritage, Chantilly has been France's horse capital for decades. Known for its dynamism and excellence in equestrian sports, the region plays a major role in France's international reputation.

Arena Polo, a burgeoning discipline, is today a credible response to the contemporary challenges facing equestrian sports :

More accessible : arena polo allows young riders to discover polo with only one horse.
More responsible : arena polo adapts to environmental with automatic sub-irrigation system and economic challenges.
More attractive : arena polo’s modern rules attract a new audience.

SHARING

The creation of Europe's largest polo arena in Apremont (160x75m) reinforces this strategic positioning by providing the site with a unique, modern and educational infrastructure to serve polo enthusiasts, professionals and future talent.

SHAPING

The creation of this field is an essential lever for implementing the federation's educational programme. It will support the training of players, particularly youngsters and amateurs, while developing the skills of teachers and referees.

DREAM

The Arena Polo will be an ideal venue for hosting prestigious events, raising the profile of polo in France. As the nerve centre of the sport, it will play a key role in organising national and international competitions, including the Arena Polo World Championships, for which France is a candidate in 2027.

This major project, led by the Fédération Française de Polo in partnership with the Association Sportive France Polo and The Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly, is already supported by local authorities and equestrian institutions such as the Fonds Éperon, the Hauts-de-France Region, the Département de l'Oise, the Communauté de Communes de l'Aire Cantilienne, the Conseil des Chevaux...
